The highlights of this trip includes game drives in national parks, Snorkel in the turquoise waters off Mozambique, cultural experience.

Day One: Arrival in  Johannesburg

On your arrival, the guide from Afrikan Wildlife Safaris will welcome you and then transfer you to the hotel for the overnight.

Day Two: Eswatini

This morning, you will cross the border to Eswatini and stop at the local markets to find authentic Swazi crafts. Spend some time exploring the local markets, where you can find traditional Swazi candles, handmade baskets, carvings, and jewellery.

Day Three: Eswatini to Maputo

Today, you will enjoy an early morning guided walk in Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, before departing for Mozambique. Then later cross the border and continue to the capital city, Maputo. It is possible to be denied entry at the border if you haven’t organized your visa in advance. For the best price and less hassle at the border, it’s best to get a Mozambique visa from an embassy before arriving.

Day Four: Maputo to Inhambane

After breakfast, head to Inhambane as a base for exploring Praia do Tofo. Enjoy a short orientation drive around town before continuing to the beach. Stop at the market in Maputo, before heading north to Praia do Tofo as we watch the beautiful coastal scenery. In Tofo, you can opt  to swim, snorkel, dive, or relax.

Day Five: Inhambane

For this day, you can relax on the white-sand beach, go swimming, surfing, snorkelling, or diving and take plenty of time at leisure.

Day Six: Inhambane to Vilanculos

This will be a full travel day north ends in Vilanculos, the perfect spot for more beach time. Continue to Vilanculos to explore Bazaruto National Park, one of southern Africa’s largest marine parks. Enjoy the Indian Ocean’s sparkling clear waters and the abundance of marine life.

Day Seven: Vilanculos

Today, you will enjoy a traditional dhow (boat) safari through Bazaruto National Park and beach on the mainland. The itinerary for the dhow excursion through the archipelago is flexible based on weather and other conditions. The plan is to depart for Magaruque Island with opportunities to snorkel and explore the island’s sandy beaches. Enjoy lunch and relax before setting sail for the beach camp back on the mainland.The camp is equipped with tents, mattresses, pillows, sleeping bags, lights, showers, and basic toilets.

Day Eight: Vilanculos

This morning, you will head to Bazaruto Island to hike the sand dunes. Visit Two Mile Reef for another excellent snorkelling opportunity. Enjoy lunch on the island before heading back to mainland Vilanculos for a night in town.

Day Nine: Vilanculos to Xai Xai

For this day, you will head to the lodge outside Xai-Xai. Take a walk on the beach, enjoy a local beer at the restaurant, or just relax and take in the beautiful scenery.

Day Ten: Xai Xai

This morning, visit Xai-Xai town to check on the markets, shops, and restaurants on the Limpopo River. You can spend the afternoon on the beach.

Day Eleven: Xai Xai to Hazyview

After breakfast, you will cross back into South Africa and drive through the famous Kruger National Park.

Day Twelve: Kruger National Park

For this day, you will enjoy a full-day gamed drive in the Kruger Park. Enjoy a traditional dinner and entertainment this evening.

Day Thirteen: Hazyview to Johannesburg

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive along the famed Panorama Route back to Johannesburg Airport to catch your flight back home.
