Day One: Arrival
Upon your arrival at the airport in N’djamena, the guide from Afrikan Wildlife Safaris will welcome you and then transfer you to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Raddisson Blu.
Day Two: N’Djamena City Tour
This morning, the guide will pick you up and proceed to registration of passports at the immigration office, then you will visit Gaoui village, the sultan’s house, and the city’s main highlights from National Museum to the Great Mosque and market. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at Raddison Blue hotel.
Day Three: N’Djamena to Zakouna National Park
After breakfast, you will take a flight to Zokauma National park. On arrival, you will meet your guide who wili pick you up and drive you to the lodge. Have lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, go for the evening game drive in search of big 5 animals. You will have the chance to see lions heard of elephants, Zebra and antelopes. Dinner and overnight at Tinga Lodge.
Days Four, Five, Six and Seven: Zakouma National Park
These couple of days will be spent at Zakouma the northernmost of the great African national parks. Enjoy Zakouma’s unique landscapes, blending open spaces with bushes, savannah forests, and wetlands. These wetlands attract a large number of birds rendering this park a paradise for bird watching. You will have the chance to cover a good part of the hundreds of kilometers of practicable tracks that this beautiful National Park during the morning and evening game drives observing a fair number of animals such as lions, ostriches, foot monkeys, baboons, Kordofan giraffes (the most common), solitary elephants, solitary buffaloes and different types of antelopes such as Kobus, gazelles, roans or net hartebeests and many more. Dinners and overnights at Tinga lodge.
Day Eight: Zakouma to N’Djamena
After breakfast, the driver will take you to the airstrip to catch your domestic flight to N’djamena. Room will be available for day use depending on your flight schedule.
