Day One: Arrival in Johannesburg
Upon your arrival, the guide from Afrikan Wildlife Safaris will welcome you and then transfer you to the hotel for dinner and overnight in Johannesburg.
Day Two: City Tour
In the morning, we will visit the Apartheid Museum. The Apartheid Museum illustrates the rise and fall of apartheid. The exhibits are from film footages, photographs, text panels and artifacts illustrating the events and human stories that are part of the apartheid. For anyone wanting to understand and experience what South Africa was really like, a visit to the Apartheid Museum is fundamental. Then in the afternoon we head to Soweto and visit the Nelson Mandela House and Hector Peterson Museum. Dinner and overnight in Johannesburg.
Day Three: Graskop
On this day, we will drive and head to the Limpopo Region and Kruger National Park. We stop for lunch at Dullstroom, a quaint village word famous for its trout fishing and wonderful sights. We drive onward to Pilgrims Rest, a gold mining village and museum before arriving at Graskop with its magnificent views for the evening. Dinner and overnight in Kruger Region.
Day Four: Kruger
This morning, we will drive through the Panorama Route of the Blyde River Canyon. The magnificent Panorama Route in Mpumalanga is best known for its cultural heritage and its dramatic landscapes. Offering a vast array of options for the visitor, One of the major highlights of the region is the Blyde River Canyon Reserve, home to spectacular wildlife and birdlife and some of the best views in South Africa. The Blyde River Canyon is the third largest canyon of its kind in the world. Dinner and overnight in Kruger Region.
Day Five:
After breakfast, we will go for the full day game drive in Kruger National Park with personal Game Ranger and picnic lunch. Kruger National Park is the world’s largest and most famous Big Five Game Reserve which covers 18,989 square km(7,332 sq ml) and extends 350 km (220 ml) from north to south and 60 km (37 mi) from east to west. Day Six:
For this day, we will cross to Eswatini. Visiting Eswatini will make you experience the strong traditions and a unique and vibrant culture. We will proceed to Ezulwini Valley and head towards Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary is Eswatini’s oldest Game Park and pioneer conservation area. Mlilwane means “Little Fire”, so-called because of the numerous fires that appear where lightning strikes the reserve’s granite mountains. Dinner and overnight stay in Eswatini in Game Reserve.
Day Seven:
In the morning, we will visit a Eswatini candle factory and arts center and then head for Hluhluwe where you will be staying for the next couple of days. We stop at a lodge for lunch with beautiful views before we peocced to Hluhluwe. Dinner and overnight at Lodge Hluhluwe
Day Eight:
For this day, you will participate in the optional Elephant Interaction Experience where guests enjoy an educational show while interacting and feeding two wild elephants and their baby. Then we go for the game drive at Hluhluwe Game Reserve with lunch at Hilltop Camp. On the game drive, search for the elephant, Lion, Leopard, Wild Dog, buffalo, giraffe, warthog, zebra, impala and wildebeest, black rhino, nyala, kudu, hippo, crocodile, waterbuck, reedbuck, red duiker, baboons, monkeys, hyena and many bird species. Dinner and overnight in Hluhluwe Lodge.
Day Nine:
After breakfast, you will visit to Dumazulu Traditional Zulu Village where you will learn of the African Zulu Tribe on their cultural village. Enjoy the energetic Zulu Dancing with its awesome rhythm of drumbeats and African dancing. Dinner and overnight in Hluhluwe. In the afternoon, you will go for the local Cat Rehabilitation Centre to learn more about South Africa’s endangered wild cat species like the Caracal, Serval, Cheetah and the African Wildcat. Educational tours are daily, with feedings during the afternoon tour and an informative talk about the animals and the project. The aim of this sanctuary is to care for wild Cheetahs, Serval Cats, African Wildcats and Caracal (Lynx), which have been orphaned or injured in the wild and are in need of care and rehabilitation. This sanctuary breeds where possible and release the offspring back into their natural habitat.
Later in the evening, we head to St Lucia where you can check on the shops, curio and African flea markets, pubs, restaurants, do a boat trips, crocodile farms and an interpretation center explaining the ecology of the World Natural Heritage Site. Dinner and overnight St Lucia.
Day Ten: Durban and fly out
After breakfast, you will drive to Durban. If you want to explore more about the city, visit the Apartheid Museum, Golden Mile, Moses Matilba Stadium with its Cable Car and Skywalk, Ushakamarine World, Bat Centre with World Renowned African Artists and explore rich culture of Hundi Temples. Dinner and overnight in Durban.
Day Eleven: Fly Out
After break fast, the guide will transfer you to the airport to connect to the international flight back home.
