Day One:

Nairobi – On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, met and briefed by our Representative.

Day Two:

Samburu Reserve After breakfast, depart for Samburu Reserve, to arrive for lunch at your Lodge. Situated in Samburu National Reserve, on the riverbanks herds of elephant, buffalo and zebra come daily to drink. The Reserve has its own indigenous wildlife unique to the region including the gerenuk, Somali ostrich and the endangered grevy’s zebra. Enjoy an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge at sunset.

Day Three:

Samburu Reserve. The day is spent at the lodge, with morning and afternoon games drives. The reserve is part of the Samburu ecosystem, comprising of three wildlife rich reserves. It is home to the colorful Samburu people, who are close relatives of the Maasai, plus the Somali and Rendile tribes.

Day Four:

Aberdare National Park, after breakfast depart and drive to Aberdare National park, arrive at Outspan hotel. Afternoon transfer by the hotel shuttle bus to Treetops for dinner and overnight. PS: Warm clothing is advisable, as nights tend to be chilly.

Day Five:

Lake Nakuru After breakfast depart and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park where you will arrive in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Afternoon game drive in the park, visiting the lake shore, the scenic baboon cliff and Makalia falls time permitting. The park is famous for the millions of pink flamingoes that line the lake shores, and its rhino sanctuary.

Day Six

Maasai Mara Game Reserve after breakfast departs and drives to Maasai Mara arriving for lunch. You have time to relax followed by an afternoon game drive.

Days Seven

Maasai Mara Game Reserve, the day is spent exploring the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The Mara is most famous for the annual wildebeest migration that takes place every July to October.

Day Eight:

Depart after breakfast depart and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Drop off at Nairobi Airport for your onward departure flight.

Best time to visit: August – Sept is best season, when migration happens in Maasai Mara.
