Five Day Mali Trip

This trip will take you to visit town monuments such as the independence monument, Visit Segou and take a walking tour, Participate in one of the afternoon prayers at the Great Mosque in Djenne, Stop by Grand Marché and Point G

Day One: Arrival and City Tour

Upon your arrival at Bamako international airport, the guide from Afrikan Wildlife Safaris will welcome you and then transfer you to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Depending on the time of your arrival,  you can go for the Bamako City tour and visit the Cathedral and the Independence Monument. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Les Colibri.

Day Two: Segou

After breakfast, drive to Ségou. Have a walking tour including the Somono neighborhood, the town center, along the river quay, and the administrative neighborhood with colonial-style architecture. In the afternoon, go for a river trip using a man-powered pirogue. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Hambé

Day Three: Djenne and San

After breakfast, you will departure  early for Djenné. Upon arrival the regional, you will be served Tion Tion for lunch. Go for a walking tour of the old town and participate in one of the afternoon prayers at the Great Mosque. In the afternoon departure for San. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Teriya.

Day Four: San to Bamako

For this morning, you will take part in the morning prayer at the adobe mosque in San. Early morning departure for Bamako. Then go for a late afternoon visit to the Grand Marché and to Point G. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Les Colibris.

Day Five: Fly Out

Today a walk is made from the Samoury statue to a waterfall and visit  the area of the sand fishermen. Evening drop-off at Bamako international airport to connect home.
