Windhoek – Sesrien – Swakopmund – Outjo – Etosha National Park

Day one – Windhoek

Upon arrival at Windhoek Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel by your guide. Overnight at Kalahari Sands Hotel

Day Two – Namib Naukluft

After breakfast, depart Windhoek via the scenic and steep Spreetshoogte pass to the Namib Naukluft Lodge. In the afternoon, take a walking trail in the Mountains or take option flight over the dunes at Sossusvlei. Overnight at Namib Naukluft Lodge.

Day Three – Namib Naukluft

An early morning rise which starts with the sight of the spectacular dunes at the Sossusvlei on your excursion. Try and make the effort to climb one and you will be overwhelmed by the sight of the dynamic and living desert.  A full breakfast will be served under the Camel thorn trees at Sossusvlei. Visit the Sesrien Canyon and return to the Lodge for launch.  Then in the afternoon, drive to the natural marble mountains. Overnight at Namib Naukluft Lodge.

Day Four – Swakopmund

Early drive to the Swakopmund, go via the Namib Desert. Stop at the Kuiseb Canyon, the drive along the Swakopmund riverbed and stops at the moon landscape and at the Welwitschia Mirabillis, an ancient plant endemic to the Namib Desert. Later, you will explore the little coastal resort. Overnight at Hansa Hotel or Swakopmund Hotel.

Day Five – Swakopmund

Drive to Walvis Bay and you may opt to join one of the optional tours like Kayaking in the dunes enroute to Walvis Bay Lagoon, Quad biking on the dunes enroute to Walvis Bay, A boat trip from the Walvis Bay yacht harbor, or you might enjoy walking along the lagoon and view the flamingoes. Return to the Swakopmund in the afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Hansa Hotel or Swakopmund Hotel.

Day Six – Damaraland

After breakfast, drive along the coastline via Henties Bay and Uis to the vast regions of Damaraland. Visit the famous rock engravings at Twyfelfontein and arrive at our destination during the course of the afternoon. Overnight at Huab Lodge or Twyfelfontein Lodge.

Day Seven – Damaraland

After breakfast, there are several activities at the Huab lodge like bird watching and nature walks drive on the farm, where the desert elephants are the common visitors here. Overnight at Huab Lodge

 

 

Day Eight – Etosha National Park

After breakfast, depart Damaraland and head for Etosha National Park via western gate. In the afternoon, you may opt to join an optional game drive on one of the farms where you have a chance of viewing the rare mountain Zebra and Elan antelopes. Overnight at Hobatere Lodge.

Day Nine – Etosha National Park

After breakfast, drive to the Etosha park via western side. Visit the Haunted Forest before you arrive at the Okaukuejo. A floodlit waterhole at either of the camps enables you to view the game all the time. Overnight at Okaukuejo or Halali Rest Camp.

Day Ten – Etosha National Park

A whole day game drives exploring this park well known for large herds of Zebra and Antelopes. Overnight at Mokuti Lodge.

Day Eleven  – Etosha.

Full day games drives exploring Etosha national park. Dinner and overnight at Mokuti Lodge. Full Board.

Day Twelve – Etosha Park

After breakfast, visit the Fisherman’s Pan as well as the north-eastern park at Andoni. Also visit a typical Ovambo village just outside the park where you will have the opportunity to see these native inhabitants living in their Kraals. Then return to the lodge on the same route through the park for more viewing before arriving to at Mokuti. Overnight at Mokuti Lodge.

Day Thirteen – Windhoek

After breakfast, depart to Tsumeb an old mining town. Visit the ethnological museum here and continue via Otjiwarongo to Okahandja, where you will make a stop at the woodcraft market. You can do some shopping here before you arrive in Windhoek. Later transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
