Eight Days Niger Vacation

The highlights of this vacation includes learning about the Tuareg World nomadic life, Discover the Aïr massif  one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Africa, Admire the great waterfall and magnificent views of the mountain in Tuareg World

Day One: Arrival in Niamey

Upon arrival in Niamey, the guide from Afrikan Wildlife Safaris will welcome you and then transfer you to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Niamey Inn.

Day Two: Niamey to Agadez

This morning, the driver will transfer you to the airport to catch a short flight to Agadez. On arrival, visit the ancient city of Agadez including the Camel market, handy craft, sultan’s palace, and the famous mosque of Agadez. Agadez has classified the heritage of UNESCO. This is the Tuaregs market meeting point for salt caravans. Dinner and overnight at Hotel de la Paix or similar.

Day Three: Agadez to Timia

After breakfast, drive to Timia. You will top at a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch proceeds to a small town and commune in northern Niger, situated at an oasis in the Aïr Mountains, Agadez Region, Arlit Department.

Day Four and Five: Tuareg

For these two days, you will discover the Tuareg world. Visit the Timia waterfall every morning to catch a breath of fresh air relax and share a cup of Tuareg tea. Then proceed to meet the villagers and interact with them to learn about their rich history and culture. In the evenings we will be entertained by the locals. Learn the Tuaregs – inzad dances, playing ancient musical instruments, and listening to traditional songs. Dinners and overnights at the village inn.

Day Six: Timia to Agadez

For this day, we will drive to Agadez via El Meki. You will stop at nomadic wells for quick photoshoot before proceeding to a local restaurant for a tasty Lunch. We will arrive in Agadez before sunset. Dinner and overnight at Hotel de la Paix for.

Day Seven: Agadez to Niamey

On this day, we take a short flight to return to the capital – Niamey. Upon arrival, we will exlore the city of Niamey . Visit the museums, the craft market for souvenir. Dinner and overnight at Tenere hotel or similar.

Day Eight: Fly Out

After breakfast, the guide will transfer you to the airport according to your flight schedule to fly home.
