Tanzania and Kenya
Day One: Arrival
Arrival in Nairobi where you will be welcomed and then take connection flight to Arusha. Welcomed by your guide and then transfer you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Serena Mountain Village.
Day Two: Ngorongoro
After your healthy breakfast, drive and head for Ngorongoro conservation area which is believed to be the birth place for mankind arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, you can go for the afternoon game drive or relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Full board.
Day Three: Ngorongoro Crater.
Enjoy the different views of the crater as the sun rises. After your breakfast, descend 2000 feet below the rim of the crater for a morning game viewing. The crater hosts the ‘Big Five’ as well as the back Rhinos, Buffalo and Jackal. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Full board.
Day Four: Lake Manyara.
After breakfast, depart and head to Lake Manyara National Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, go for the afternoon game drive. The park is known for the tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. Full board.
Day Five: Amboseli Reserve.
After breakfast, drive to Arusha where you are met on arrival and transfer by road to the border town of Namanga at the Kenya and Tanzania border. You change the jeep and the drive to Amboseli National Park set at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. After you lunch, you can go for the afternoon game drive. You may have a chance to see the Masai Folk Dancing after your dinner. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. Full board.
Day Six: Amboseli Reserve
The next morning, go for an early game drive and return to the camp for breakfast. Then in the afternoon, you can decide to go back for the game drive or rest at the camp. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. Full board.
Day Seven: Nairobi
After your breakfast, drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy your lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant and then later have an opportunity to hand feed the Rothschild Giraffes at the Giraffe Center in Nairobi. Then go back to Serena Hotel for the overnight. Bed and Breakfast
Day Eight: Masai Mara
Depart Nairobi and continue with your adventure into the Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, go for the game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge or Mara Sarova Tented Camp. Full board.
Day Nine and Ten: Masai Mara
For the two days, you can enjoy game viewing in the morning and afternoon drives in Masai Mara National Reserve the most famous park in Kenya because of the great migration of the wildebeest. You can also have an opportunity to enjoy an early morning balloon safari (at extra cost) over the Masai Mara plains. Dinner and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge or Mara Sarova Tented Camp. Full board
Day Eleven: Nairobi
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi and if time permits, do some shopping of African crafts and later catch your flight back home. Or you can stay an extra day depending on your flight time.
