7 Days Northern Tanzania

Day One:

After breakfast, depart and head to Lake Manyara National Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, go for the afternoon game drive Crater Highlands. The park is known for the tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge or The Manor Ngorongoro Lodge or Lake Manyara Hotel.  Full board.

Day Two:

After breakfast, drive to Olduvai Gorge for a visit to the remains of prehistoric man. Then proceed to Serengeti which was named after the Masai Word, ‘Siringet’ which means endless plains of short and long grass. The park is famous for its large prides of lions, cheetah, wild dogs and wildebeest. Have lunch at the lodge then go for the afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge or Lobo Wildlife Lodge or Seronera Wildlife Lodge. Full board

Day Three:

After you breakfast, go for the morning game drive and return to lodge for lunch. After lunch, you can go back for the afternoon game drive then head to Seronera. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge or Seronera Wildlife Lodge or Lobo Wildlife Lodge.  Full board.

Day Four:

After your healthy breakfast, drive and head for Ngorongoro conservation area which is believed to be the birth place for mankind arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, you can go for the afternoon game drive or relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge. Full board

Day Five:

Enjoy the different views of the crater as the sun rises. After your breakfast, descend 2000 feet below the rim of the crater for a morning game viewing. The crater hosts the ‘Big Five’ as well as the back Rhinos, Buffalo and Jackal. Afternoon ascend to the crater rim for Tarangire. Overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge or Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Full board

Day Six:

After breakfast, morning game drive to explore more of the beauty of the park with its wildlife. In the afternoon drive to Arusha National Park.  Overnight Hatari Lodge.

Day Seven:

After breakfast, you may combine both guided walking safari and game drive in Arusha National Park, drop off Kilimanjaro International Airport.
