Day One: Arrival
On arrival in Tanzania, you will be welcomed by your guide who will then transfer you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Serena Mountain Village Lodge. Bed and breakfast.
Day Two: Lake Manyara.
After breakfast, depart and head to Lake Manyara National Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, go for the afternoon game drive. The park is known for the tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. Full board.
Day Three: Ngorongoro
After your healthy breakfast, drive and head for Ngorongoro conservation area which is believed to be the birth place for mankind arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, you can go for the afternoon game drive or relax at the lodge. You can also visit the local Masai village. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. Full board.
Day Four: Ngorongoro Crater.
Enjoy the different views of the crater as the sun rises. After your breakfast, descend 2000 feet below the rim of the crater for a morning game viewing. The crater hosts the ‘Big Five’ as well as the back Rhinos, Buffalo and Jackal. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. Full board.
Day Five: Serengeti
After breakfast, drive to Olduvai Gorge for a visit to the remains of prehistoric man. Then proceed to Serengeti which was named after the Masai Word, ‘Siringet’ which means endless plains of short and long grass. The park is famous for its large prides of lions, cheetah, wild dogs and wildebeest. Have lunch at the lodge then go for the afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge. Full board.
Day Six: Western Serengeti
In the morning, you can have an opportunity to take morning balloon safari (at extra cost) over the Serengeti plains. Then after drive to the Luxurious Kirawira Tented Camp while having game drive en route. Then you can go the afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Serena Kirawira Tented Camp. Full board.
Day Seven: Western Serengeti
This day you will enjoy the whole day in Serengeti for morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at Serena Kirawira Tented Camp. Full board.
Day Eight:
After an early morning breakfast, take your flight from Grumeti airstrip to Arusha where the guide will meet you and transfer you the hotel for day room use. Spend the afternoon at leisure or shopping crafts.
Depending on the flight you booked and flight time, you may spend another night and fly out the next day or that very night.
