Day One:
Arrival in Kigali airport and then drive to Gisenyi, then cross the border to Congo depending on the time of arrival and transfer to your Hotel in Goma. Overnight at Ihusi hotel, located 100meter from the Rwanda/Congo DRC border, on the shores of Lake Kivu.
Day Two:
After breakfast at the hotel, you will do a city tour that takes you up to the green lakes in Mugunga about 15km from Goma, then from there proceed to the base of Nyiragongo. Get a briefing and start your hike by 10h AM Camp on the top (if the volcano is not in eruption at that time), you will see boiling magma and take nice photos.
Day Three:
Early morning, retrace your steps back down Nyiragongo and drive to the city center for breakfast. Cross the Rwanda/Congo border and proceed to Kigali Airport for your flight.
