Highlights
This adventure takes us to the culture of Ntchisi, Lake Malawi, Liwonde National Park and the views from Zomba Plateau. The activities in this programme will include Game drives, boat trips, walking safaris, Village Visit, Hiking, Fishing Village Visit, Snorkelling,
Day One – Arrival
On arrival at the airport in Lilongwe, you will be welcomed by a professional guide from Afrikan Wildlife Safaris who will then take you to Kumbali Country Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Bed and Breakfast.
Day Two and Three – Ntchisi
You will have the morning breakfast then head to Ntchisi Forest. Later go for the nature/village walk, participate in cooking Malawi local dishes. You will also experience the sun downer, cultural performances for the indigenous people, story telling around fire Dinner and overnight at Ntchisi Forest Lodge. Full board.
Day Four – Seven – Lake Malawi.
Take your early breakfast and then depart Ntchisi for Lake Malawi. Explore the Lake Malawi on the boat, Snorkelling with the Cyclid Fish in Lake Malawi, kayaking on the Bua River, nature walks. Dinner on the beach on the shores of Lake Malawi at Norman Carr Cottages. Full board.
Day Eight and Nine – Liwonde National Park.
You will have your breakfast then drive to Liwonde National Park. In the evening, you will go for the Sundowner on the banks of the Shire River. Then the next day go for the morning game drive viewing big herds of elephants and then Boat Safari at Liwonde National Park in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Mvuu Camp.
Day Ten – Twelve – Zomba Plateau.
After your breakfast, you will drive to Zomba Plateau. Enjoy the plateau by Hiking on Zomba Plateau and go for the views from Emperors Point. Dinner and overnight at Ku Chawe Lodge or at Zomba Forest Lodge
Day Thirteen – Lilongwe.
You will have the morning breakfast then drive to Lilongwe. Go for the city tour in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Kumbali Country Lodge.
Day Fourteen – Fly Out
Enjoy your last breakfast of your adventure, then later you will be transferred to the airport depending on your time of departure. You can go for souvenirs before you fly out back home.
