Highlight
This adventure takes you to the wilderness and Beaches of Malawi and Zambia. Explore the villages of Ntchisi before heading to the shores of Lake Malawi and the idyllic Mumbo Island. Then you proceed to South Luangwa National Park.
Day One – Arrival
On arrival at the airport in Lilongwe, you will be welcomed by a professional guide from Afrikan Wildlife Safaris who will then take you to Kumbali Country Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Bed and Breakfast.
Day Two and three – Ntchisi Forest Lodge
You will have the morning breakfast then head to Ntchisi Forest. Later go for the nature/village walk, participate in cooking Malawi local dishes. You will also experience the sun downer, cultural performances for the indigenous people, story telling around fire Dinner and overnight at Ntchisi Forest Lodge. Full board.
Day Four and Five – Lake Malawi.
Take your early breakfast and then depart Ntchisi for Lake Malawi. Explore the Lake Malawi on the boat, Snorkelling with the Cyclid Fish in Lake Malawi, kayaking on the Bua River, nature walks. Dinner on the beach on the shores of Lake Malawi at Norman Carr Cottages. Full board.
Day Six and Seven – Mumbo Island
You will have the morning breakfast then head to Mumbo Island. Later in the evening, you go for the Sunset Cruise on Mumbo Island. The next day you will go for the boat Trip to Mumbo Island and later the Village Walks. Dinner and overnight at a recommended hotel/lodge. Full board
Day Eight – Ten – South Luangwa National Park
You will have your breakfast then proceed by flight to Mfuwe South of Luangwa National Park. In the evening, Sundowner on the banks of the Luangwa River. Then the next day go for the morning game drive viewing big herds of elephants and then Boat Safari at Luangwa National Park in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Kapani Lodge,
Day Eleven – Lilongwe
After your breakfast, depart Luangwa National Park and drive to Lilongwe, in the afternoon, go for the city tour. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Bed and Breakfast.
Day Twelve – Fly Out
Enjoy your last breakfast of your adventure, then later you will be transferred to the airport depending on your time of departure. You can go for souvenirs before you fly out back home.
