Highlights
On this trip, you will be doing Game Drives, Walking Safaris, Snorkelling, Kayaking, Village Visit and Mountain Biking. You will visit Nyika National Park, the Viphya Plateau, excellent wildlife Nyika’s montane landscape and is ideal for walking safaris, Lake Malawi, Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve, Ntchisi highland. Ntchisi offers the perfect mix of adventure, culture and peaceful tranquility.
Day One – Arrival
On arrival at the airport in Lilongwe, you will be welcomed by a professional guide from Afrikan Wildlife Safaris who will then take you to Kumbali Country Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Bed and Breakfast.
Day Two – Viphya Plateau
After breakfast, drive to Viphya Plateau. Later in the afternoon, the go for the walking safari or relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at recommended hotel/lodge. Full board
Day Three and Four – Nyika National Park
Spend the two days exploring the Nyika National Park on game drives and walking safaris. Sundowners over the montane landscape of Nyika. Dinner and overnight at recommended hotel/lodge. Full board.
Day Five – Eight – Lake Malawi
Take your early breakfast and then depart Nyika for Lake Malawi. Explore the Lake Malawi on the boat, Snorkelling with the Cyclid Fish in Lake Malawi, kayaking on the Bua River, nature walks. Dinner on the beach on the shores of Lake Malawi at Norman Carr Cottages. Full board
Day Nine – Eleven – Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve
After your breakfast, proceed to Nkhotakota Wildlife reserve. Later in the afternoon, go for the game drives with an option of walking safaris. The rest of the days you will be exploring the park through game drives and walking safaris and Wilderness hikes at Nkhotakota. Overnight at Tongole Wilderness Lodge. Full board basis.
Day Twelve and Thirteen – Ntchisi Forest
You will have the morning breakfast then head to Ntchisi Forest. Later go for the nature/village walk, participate in cooking Malawi local dishes. You will also experience the sun downer, cultural performances for the indigenous people, story telling around fire Dinner and overnight at Ntchisi Forest Lodge. Full board.
Day Fourteen
Enjoy your last breakfast of your adventure, then later you will be transferred to the airport depending on your time of departure. You can go for souvenirs before you fly out back home.
